DinnerStory ("we", "our", or "the app") is a fully offline interactive storytelling application. This Privacy Policy explains how we handle information when you use our app.

        Summary: DinnerStory does not collect, store, transmit, or share any personal data. The app works entirely offline with no network connectivity required.
    

2. Information We Do NOT Collect

We want to be completely transparent: DinnerStory does not collect any information whatsoever. Specifically, we do not collect:

Personal identification information (name, email, phone number)
Location data
Device identifiers or fingerprints
Usage analytics or behavioral data
Photos, contacts, or any device data
Health or fitness data
Financial information
Advertising identifiers

3. Data Stored on Your Device

DinnerStory stores the following data locally on your device only:

Story progress: Which stories you have completed and which endings you reached
Preferences: Your chosen theme color, font size, and feature toggles
Favorites: Stories you have marked as favorites

This data is stored using Apple's SwiftData framework and iOS UserDefaults. It never leaves your device and is not accessible to us or any third party.

4. Third-Party Services

DinnerStory does not integrate any third-party services, SDKs, analytics tools, advertising frameworks, or crash reporting systems. The app contains zero network code.

5. Data Security

Since all data remains on your device and is managed by the iOS operating system, it benefits from Apple's built-in device encryption and security measures. We have no servers and no databases.

6. Data Deletion

To delete all data associated with DinnerStory, simply delete the app from your device. All locally stored preferences and progress will be permanently removed. You can also use the "Reset All Progress" option within the app's Settings.

7. Children's Privacy

DinnerStory does not collect any data from any user, including children under 13. The app contains no inappropriate content and is suitable for all ages. Since no data is collected, no parental consent mechanisms are required.

8. Changes to This Policy

If we ever update this privacy policy, the changes will be reflected in a new version of the app. Since the app collects no data, significant changes are unlikely.
