FriendQuiz is a fully offline trivia party game for iPhone. We respect your privacy and have built the app so that no personal data ever leaves your device. This policy explains, in plain language, exactly how the app handles information.

1. Data We Collect

None. FriendQuiz does not collect, transmit, or store any personal information on remote servers. The app:

• Has no account system, no login, and no registration.
• Does not request your name, email, phone number, or any contact details.
• Does not access your contacts, photos, microphone, camera, location, calendar, or health data.
• Does not include any analytics, advertising, or tracking SDKs.
• Does not make any network requests of any kind.

2. Data Stored On-Device

To make the game work, the app saves the following information locally on your iPhone using Apple’s SwiftData and UserDefaults frameworks:

• Game session history (mode, category, scores, date) so you can review past rounds.
• Player nicknames and avatar choices you create during setup.
• Preferences you set in the Settings tab (default mode, question count, timer length, haptics & sound toggles).

This data never leaves your device. It is deleted instantly when you uninstall the app or tap “Wipe all history” in the Stats tab.

3. Permissions

FriendQuiz does not request any iOS permissions. The Info.plist contains no permission usage descriptions because the app does not use any restricted APIs.

4. Children’s Privacy

FriendQuiz is suitable for general audiences. Because no data is collected, we do not knowingly or unknowingly collect information from children under 13.

5. Third-Party Services

FriendQuiz contains no third-party SDKs of any kind — no Firebase, no analytics, no ads, no crash reporting, no social SDKs. The entire codebase ships with the binary you download from the App Store.

6. App Store App Privacy Label

On the App Store, FriendQuiz is declared as Data Not Collected, which is consistent with the behaviour described above.

7. Your Rights

Because we never receive any of your data, there is nothing to access, correct, export, or delete from our side. You retain full control over the on-device data and can erase it at any time by:

• Tapping Stats → Wipe all history inside the app, or
• Deleting the app from your iPhone.

8. Changes to This Policy

If this policy ever changes, the updated version will be published at this URL with a new “Last updated” date.
