What shift statuses does ShiftSwap support?

ShiftSwap supports 4 statuses: Scheduled — upcoming shifts you plan to work; Completed — shifts you've finished; Cancelled — shifts that were called off; and Swapped — shifts you've exchanged with a coworker. Each status has a distinct color and icon for easy identification.

How are earnings calculated?

For each shift, you enter base pay and tips separately. Total pay is calculated as base pay + tips. The Earnings dashboard shows your total earnings, total tips, total hours worked, and average hourly rate across all completed and scheduled shifts. You can also view earnings for the past week and past month.

Can I manage multiple employers?

Yes! ShiftSwap supports tracking unlimited employers. For each employer, you can store name, address, contact name, contact phone, pay rate, and notes. You can mark employers as active or inactive. Shifts can be linked to employers for income breakdown by employer.

Where is my data stored?

All your data is stored locally on your device using Apple's SwiftData framework. No data is sent to any server or third party. Your shift records, earnings, and employer info never leave your device.

Do I need an account or internet connection?

No. ShiftSwap works completely offline. No account registration is required, and no internet connection is needed.

How do I filter my schedule?

On the Schedule tab, you can search shifts by location or notes. You can also filter by status using the filter menu in the toolbar — select Scheduled, Completed, Cancelled, or Swapped to see only shifts matching that status.

How do I delete my data?

You can delete individual shifts or employers from within the app. Each detail view has a delete button with a confirmation dialog. To remove all data, delete the app from your device.
