A: No. SourdoughStarter works completely offline. All your data is stored locally on your device using SwiftData. No internet connection is required for any feature.
A: Currently, all data is stored locally on the device where you enter it. iCloud sync is not available in version 1.0 but may be considered for future updates.
A: Go to the "Starters" tab and tap the "+" button in the top-right corner. Fill in the starter name, flour type, hydration ratio, feeding interval, and any notes, then tap "Save."
A: Go to the "Bakes" tab and tap the "+" button. Enter the flour blend, hydration percentage, fermentation time, oven temperature, and your ratings for crumb, crust, flavor, and overall quality. Add a scoring pattern and notes if desired.
A: Yes! Go to the "Recipes" tab, tap "+", and fill in your recipe details including steps, target parameters, and whether it's a favorite. You can track bake count and best rating for each recipe over time.
A: Swipe left on any item in a list to reveal the Delete button, or tap into the detail view and use the "Delete" option at the bottom.
A: Absolutely. SourdoughStarter does not collect, transmit, or share any data. Everything stays on your device. No accounts, no analytics, no tracking.
A: SourdoughStarter requires iOS 17.0 or later.
